Beyond Safe(R) Space: Transgender, Non-Binary, and Gender Nonconforming Identities

This workshop, the first in our Beyond SafeR Space Series, takes the next steps towards educating the audience about the intricacies of transgender, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming (TNBGNC) identities. Terminology (with the understanding that language is ever-changing) and reflective activities will be highlighted to encourage a deeper understanding. Participants will confront cisgender privilege and be able to identify practical forms of allyship for people who identify under the TNBGNC umbrella.
