Biographies:

REYNA NAMASTE is a gifted multi-instrumental sound healer, channeling transformative energies to bring harmony and healing to diverse spaces. Her sound healing sessions create sanctuaries of peace, offering participants a unique journey of relaxation and renewal. Reyna has shared her talents at institutions like Rutgers University, where she provided sound healing experiences for both students and staff, fostering tranquility within demanding environments. Whether working with individuals or groups, her sessions are deeply attuned to the needs of those she serves, guiding them toward balance and self-discovery through the power of sound.Rooted in compassion and a holistic approach, Reyna’s sound healing practice embraces the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit, making each session a transformative and restorative experience. Reyna is also a CAPS therapist and FLOW artist at Rutgers.

ALEX DAWSON is full time faculty at Rutgers University, where he teaches creative writing (with a focus on folklore, weird fiction, and the dark fantastic), curates/hosts “Inside the Writers House,” a weekly video chat with acclaimed authors from all over the world, and leads fable-fueled Study Abroad programs to some of the planet’s most mythical places. His forthcoming novel, Welcome to White Hart, has been called “magical and masterful” (Lev Grossman, The Bright Sword) and “a work of wizardry” (Idra Novey, Those Who Knew). Samantha Hunt (Mr. Splitfoot) called it a “wonder” and said it was “impossible not to be amazed,” and Kevin Wilson (Nothing to See Here) said “in a perfect world, this would be the story we told our loved ones at Christmas.” He is the creator/owner (w. Julian Lance) of The Rac-On-Tour, a mobile bookstore/cabinet of wonder built on the back of a ’53 International flatbed farm truck (which lives in Highland Park), and he curates/hosts R.O.T. Fest, a bi-monthly vaudevillian variety show that puts writers on stage alongside musicians, puppeteers, and sideshow performers. He is currently touring with The Devil and Daisy Dirt, an original bluegrass musical about the Jersey Devil, which features an 8′ wearable puppet.
