Move with Meaning: Pilates and Reflection
In honor of Women’s History Month, this Move with Meaning session offers a grounding space to pause, move, and reflect. The class blends gentle mat Pilates with guided journaling, creating an experience that supports physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
The session is led by Victoria Valentin (she/her/ella), a Rutgers Recreation instructor and wellness facilitator whose work is rooted in mind–body connection and the belief that movement and community can be pathways to meaning, reflection, and liberation. As a queer Afro-Latina and fifth-year doctoral student in Organizational Psychology at GSAPP, Victoria brings a holistic, inclusive lens to wellness, centering presence, intention, and connection throughout the experience.
This class is open to all genders and experience levels and is designed to meet participants where they are.
