Sustaining Life: Through Growth and Decomposition
This workshop is part of an ongoing series for our Wellness Sensory Garden: Cultivating Community, Health, and Harmony, in which participants can appreciate the dichotomy of life and death.
Participants will meet at the Floriculture Greenhouse on Cook Campus. Everyone is invited to bring their non-meat compostable items. We will start composting and learn about how to do this for the garden and in one’s person space, with very low overhead.
We will also learn about herb transplanting and how the herbs chosen are both sustainable for the environment, and also can be used for self-care.
